Tabloids!

As I read the BANDERA news tabloid  (October 12,2013) I can say that the news they have tackeld is mostly about SSS.

The main topic that I have read is that "SSS chief singkapal ng asero ang mukha." Because due to this topic, the brother of Conrad de Quiros, columnist of INQUIRER who is Emilio, the President of CEO of Social Security System (SSS) spend so much money. Other said that Emilio didn't think about the reputation of Conrad. And because of Conrad Pres.Aquino conducted Emilio through SSS.

The Bandera tabloid is focusing about the latest news in Philippine entertainment, Philippine elections, Philippines politics etc. So as you can see at the picture above, all the news have been highlighted. And also Bandera is currently the # 1 tabloid in Visayas and Mindanao. It is under the publishing wing of the inquirer group of companies (IGC) alongside.

I can say that the Bandera news tabloid were trying to give to the people the different news about the latest happening in our counrty.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer took a space about political news as they highlight of their news page, because as I look at the front page of the news paper the topic is about: "Palace admits pork still around; Congress balks at abolition" I think it will capture the eye of the public reader because earlier they said that the pork barrel issue is settled already.

MALACANANG conceded Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio's point that only an act of Congress can abolish the congressional pork barrel and even admitted that the creature was still lurking about in the national budget, waiting to be chopped.
"Of course, the Supreme Court justice is correct because the PDAF, as far as it is embodied in the General Appropriations Act, is law and only Congress can repeal or amend or modify law," Valte said.

As you can see to that statement, many of the people will encourage to read what is the news about. For me the PDI tabloid use it as the highlight part of their tabloid to catch the attention of the public reader. I must say that the political news is very important to the PDI because they took a small part of the page for that political issue.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer, popularly known as the Inquirer, is the most widely read broadsheet newspaper in the Philippines, with a daily circulation of 260,000 copies. It is one of the Philippines' newspapers of record. It is a member of the Asias News Network.
